Be swept away by those mellifluous, yet throaty vocals, transported on the lilting harmonious waves of harmonica, ache with the artistic use of his acoustic guitar. Creates a mean arrangement too.

Monsieur basso profundo. What is it with Bradford bands and their exceptional bass players? Zico have got that musical genius Sean, Rent have got the seemingly double-jointed Bill, and Powder Monkeys have got the remarkable Mr. Slater, a.k.a. Posh (for reasons too pathetic to go into at this point). Just don't ask him to play roots, 5ths and octaves...that allergic reaction aint a pretty sight!

Neil Peart sometimes had to drum along with a machine to fix the really tricky rhythms in his head. Not necessary for our Leigh, mind you we haven't tried him out with much 5/4 yet - well at least not deliberately! If there's a subtle variation to be found in the rhythm Leigh will find it and nail it pretty much instantly. This is very handy in a band which seems to avoid playing anything the straightforward way, if at all possible. He's so good he's even had a video made of his footwork!

Jangles, crunches, squeals, wails, pipes, moans, twangs, scribbles, sketches, borrows, hustles and generally has a grand time!
